Here's how we help our clients

Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program (Vancouver, BC, Canada) - https://www.leukemiabmtprogram.org/

Wild River Creative delivers results

In 2003, a new logo was needed for the Leukemia/Bone Marrow Transplant Program. My team and I were able to nail down a logo design that matched what was stipulated by the Program Director within the third presentation of the design boards.

With the new logo, we were at hand to supply the program with new business cards, envelopes and letterheads.

In 2004, we were asked to produce posters for the Diana Krall, Elvis Costello and Elton John fundraiser.

By listening closely to our clients' needs and vision and by asking key questions, we save our clients time and money.

Ross Chocolates (Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada) - https://rosschocolates.ca/

Those on special diets need not deny themselves when it comes to chocolates - Ross Chocolates.

In 2005, my team provided these purveyors of deliciousness with the designs for their wrappers as they expanded into the Japanese market.

We designed their website and organised the printing of their brochures as they launched their new stevia line.

GensCorp. Technologies (Vancouver & Toronto, Canada) - http://www.genscorp.com/

A more contemporary, high-tech look was required for this provider of IT business solutions.

The interactivity served multiple purposes - to strengthen the company's branding as a leading edge player in its field, as well as to organize the many pages of information contained within it. GensCorp's clients include the biggest names in the telecommunications industry.

Intralock Tools (Abbotsford, BC, Canada)

Intralock Tools is known worldwide for its innovative locksmithing products.

The sense of community within the locksmithing industry and the owner's passion for continual innovation became quickly apparent and formed the focus of my marketing plan.

To optimise customer relations, we included website elements such as a Toolbox to support our clients' marketing activities and downloadable software.

A database was created to not only organise the distribution of the e-Newsletter but to also monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities. For example, visible increases in sales were apparent following trade journal submissions. Similar results followed announcements of new products in its eNewsletter.

Burnaby Board of Trade (Burnaby, BC, Canada) - http://www.bbot.ca

We worked with the Burnaby Board of Trade's Marketing Committee to give its site a more contemporary, business-like feel, and to increase its use as a marketing tool.

The navigation was simplified and copy re-worded. The online business directory made it easier for members to find, and connect with, one another.

All-in-all, the new website reflects the Burnaby Board of Trade's focus on ever bettering its services to its members.

The Board is one of the region's fastest growing business member bodies.

Brookdale International Systems, Inc. (Vancouver, BC, Canada)

Brookdale International was an ISO certified manufacturer of an award-winning safety device. Its success led to it being bought out by a large multinational.

When I first came on board in 1999, I incorporated compelling web content and implemented web based strategies that significantly expanded its retail network and committed monthly sales.

Taking advantage of sales staff who were fluent in Spanish and Japanese, and with careful briefing, foreign language materials were produced enabling Brookdale to more effectively reach those markets.

Burnbaby Village Museum (Burnaby, BC, Canada)

One of the main attractions of this recreation of a 1920s village is its carousel which first came to BC in 1925 from Kansas (US).

A major (and very passionate) project was underway to restore the carousel when we were contacted.

Since the memories of the rides and its preservation was so meaningful to so many, we just had to incorporate elements of the carousel in the commemorative logo that we created for the museum.

Metallica Manufacturing (Burnaby, BC, Canada)

Metallica builds customised stainless steel solutions for clients across a wide variety of industries.

It needed a brochure for its newest product - a mobile, adjustable computer station for use in a hospitable setting. The timing was very tight.

We managed to have the photos, design and copy in place within 3 weeks - just in time to meet the printing schedule.

While we would normally appreciate a wider timeframe for the production of marketing solutions, through creative thinking and years of experience, we were able to meet this stringent deadline.

VWA Networking Group (TriCities, BC, Canada)-

The VWA Group was formed in 1992 to support businesswomen local to the TriCities area of the Vancouver Lower Mainland in BC.

The meetings provided a chance to network not just for business but for friendship.

In 2003, as the e-specialist on its committee, I initiated the use of html format emails and took on the role of broadcasting its communications. The html format gave the communications a new dimension through the addition of graphics and interactive elements.

I also ran workshops for members on topics such as "what is the web development process? ", "networking etiquette" and "the elements of an effective website".

The sure sign of success was a doubling in membership and, within 2 years, we outgrew our original venue.

High Grade Mill (Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada)-https://www.highgrademill.com/

The client had requested a new look for two sister companies considered giants in the construction and lumber sectors.

An established yet modern and forward-thinking feel was requested and matching web designs were delivered for the two companies.
